Default Thats spot on

Well done Shaun, I'm sure you'll do it.

We need folk like you bringing down the average rebuild time - I've been working on some of my stuff for 20 years, but no rush, eh?

In case you find the name vaguely familiar, I was at Beltring years back with Geoff and Sean Spencer from Canada, and was with the other Sean when he was talking carrier with you. Like Sean I'm a snow stuff person, but Sean has snow stuff and a carrier, of course.

Looking forward to pic on 21st. I'm sure there's no reason to take it back ( loads of miles? ) and park it beside the bit of hedge, but that would be an even nicer touch....

BTW, your Daimler Mk1 was never in Scotland, was it? I have a bit of history on a pair, a Mk1 and Mk 2, that were in Scotland 25 years back, the Mk1 went to the Cavern collection and I lost track of it after that.

Hi Gordon,
blimy you have a good memory , that was Beltring a few years ago ( yes i do remember you ) may be catch you at Beltring this year ? I got the Daimler MK1 from down south . Although who owned it did move to your fine part of our Island. But im sure the car never went that far north or west to Wales. The man you need to email is a mate of mine called Singe Ager , have a look at his website http://daimler-fighting-vehicles.co.uk .

It would be lovely to drive the carrier to the field it came from but it will be a tad to far for this stage of running. I am still in regular contact with the guys i got it off , keeping them posted on the progress.

Default Thanks Shaun

I'll give that site a look, ta.

It was good to meet everyone that once, since I haven't seen the other Sean, Hanno, you, and the like since then, and Geoff, of course, is sadly no longer around except in spirit.

I'm sure that some time you are going to park it next to the hedge and do a 'before and after' but no rush. Still an amazing job.

Later - had a look at the site - looks like he has the Mk1 I got running again - fired him off an e-mail - result all round.
