I remember an open one and a closed one used in the desert, with sand tyres.
Didn't George Formby do a tour in North Africa in a Woody? If this link is too long, Google ENSA NORTH AFRICA and look at the girls standing on a Woody tailgate. http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?q=ens...1t:429,r:1,s:0

Hi Gordon,
Snow scenes fantastic and by the age of the shot most certainly appears to bo a 1940 model, or earlier. The other references you point to are the later C11AD/F models. |
