LPG is especially hard on the valve train of engines. It is also no longer cheap, and worst of all, does not like the cold, which Canada is known for.
As to the multifuel, I have always taken that as meaning it can run on a lesser grade of fuel in an emergency, but not for day to day driving as the problems it will cause will outweigh the savings. I do not have any experience with the Diesel FV432s, but I did own a gasoline model. Plenty of ooomph on that powerplant, and it would start right down to -30 without any startup aids. Came in handy too on the bad snow days. |

For those of you commenting on this thread from poor Old Blighty I should enlighten you that todays cost of diesel was $1.27 per litre, a far cry from what you people ge stiffed for.
The petrol (gasoline) conversions to LPG are not common as you are used to. R |
