o.K., LETS KICK OFF THE mK1 plus points
1. Better gunner protection, he can sit on the floor. 2. He doesnt have too worry about fuel economy so much as there is no fuel gauge. 3. nice rubber finish on the armour top to rest your elbows. 4. more brass to shine up for parade day. The list goes on.......need I say more!!!!. kev.

I have always preferred the mk1 over the mk2, just for the very British stowage. Seems like there is a place for everything, and if there is no place then it doesn't belong. Imagine making a specific holder just for a parts cleaning brush, or for the button coupler on the end of the grease gun. I also like the provision of a graduated stick for the fuel tank.
I always found the mk2 stowage much more bland. |

Certainly in the UK the mnost common surviving model used to be the Canadian Mk11* but obviously others have been imported in more recent years.
