Collectors source has one of the covers for $45. Great price if you need one. http://www.collectorssource.com/40mm...der-cover.html
Personally, I need/want the metal cover for mine. |

Hi Rob:
I think I have a spare tin cover for the Bofors. If I do, I'll trade you the postage for the cleaning stave ends for the postage for the cover. The cover itself will be my contribution to your growing collection of ordnance. Give me some time to search, as the barn is frozen shut after the last freeze-thaw-freeze cycle! Mike ![]()

Done deal. I was just cleaning the shop out today and started boxing up the ends that I have. PM me with details once you find it. Rob |

I do believe these covers are for the extra rounds "squirrelly" clip mounted beside the loader.
Cheers Rob

I believe you're right. On the one Collectors has (which he got from me)
there is no securing strap (made that way) but on the one Dirk bought there is a web strap and buckle to secure it on. The back is also pocket shaped with a lower cover. Maybe one is for the top loader and one for the ready clips? Peter S |

Same drawing number on both covers. I see straps on the CS one, but no buckle.
