Hi Jordan
Below is a picture of my gas peddle from my HUP, the pin is actually a piece of tubing which is slightly flared at the ends to hold it in place. Let me know if you need a different photo angle. Cheers Phil

That's exaclty what I needed to know. What I thought were bushings must have been what was left of the tubing and it had rusted away on the inside.

.... a short piece of stainless steel brake line suitably flared...... should last longer than the gas pedal......
