hi Jon,

If you are using U.S. pattern tyres on your CMP, make sure they will fit OK . The actual internal diameter seems to vary a little from maker to maker , but, generally U.S. 900-16's are a tight fit on WW2 British/Canadian rims .

It confuses everyone as the post WW2 Dunlop Trak Grips often seen on Ferrets ect., are actually made to the U.S. specs., and are also a tight fit on WW2 rims .

It is a brain teaser , but its true !
