That really is interesting information.in the thread on D15/D60 that I started you remember Geir Iversen in Norway posted the infor on his D-15 Water bowser which was built to S/M2989 (as was my D-15) his truck is chassis#91070482 engine#T222-32561C. only two trucks between that truck and the one you posted! and the engine number is only one out.

My D-15 (civvy reg number 7259PP) was first registered in April 1974 in Milton Keynes (I have the old green log book) but as it had been used before that as a garage tow truck I don't know when it left the military.
