Rob,thanks for clearing that up for me! It's great to have someone on here who knows all that stuff.
Richard,the # is stamped into the glacis plate,with-in an inch of the front edge. I have seen this on another carrier in our area,that's how I thought of looking there. It's also stamped into the first angle ( deflector? ) iron that runs across the glacis plate. Not on the driver's armor. |
