are the straps rubber or are they made from leather?

Early carriers used rubber straps, but when the rubber got scarce (1942 time period) they went to webbing straps.

all the brackets on the deck installed now.
missing on the rear plate some straps.
2x tl438 sa
and ctl 7332 (bracket towrope)
if anybody have nice pics from those....

you are right.
as always we are restoring without making pics,i know it,s a shame
tommorow i taking the camera and make some pics.
making progress now,i borrowed from dirk leegwater a complete button for the shutters,bring them away too copy them,when these are ready i also post it here.
