What are you going to do with the shaft, get it repaired or replace it?

Once I get it out, I will check for straightness and then figure out my options. I'm sure they are avail from a few sources if I go replacement.

Default Safety Wire

That's some interesting safety wiring on the ring gear, pretty sure that will do nothing to help keep the bolts tight. Might want to have a look at this as an example:
