I wanted to see the whole thing on television too, but today was a REALLY bad day for the digital signal, and it was painful enough to watch the nightly news. Everyone looked like a mosaic!!! Bloody rural lack of coverage
![]() I remember in mid 70's my Father took me out of school for a couple of hours, so we could stand by the side of the route that HRH was to take and wave as she went by, while visiting Australia. That couldn't happen in present times. For a start, the school wouldn't allow you to take the time off, and with the problems associated with terrorism, the route wouldn't be identified. Ah the good old days! Simpler times. Happier times. When we all had a sense of pride in our monarch. Not like that anymore ![]() ![]() ![]()
