PAM is aerosol canola oil. It has been mentioned as a cheap mold release agent for fibreglass rifle bedding compounds (although I wouldn't trust it that far). If sprayed biodegradeable cooking oil protects paint work, maybe there is a market for it with the other offroad communities .... $$$$

The rain & mud didn't seem to keep people away on the Wednesday when I was there.

Some of the outlying camps were a bit tricky getting to, even for landrovers. These two needed the dozer to pull them free.

Not much mud on the carriers yet.

Hi Barry,

Just 4 Universals and 1 T-16 made it. Mine was left in Holland because of the mud. Friends had been there a week before I arrived and they warned me not to bring the lowloader and vehicles.
I think next year should be a better record attempt. Richie, Ben, Hans and Manfred should have theirs ready by then hopefully. Shaun is also going to talk to Rex to get support in transport for the UK based vehicles and fuel compensation for the ones from abroad.

I did not see Rick's Comet and believe Andrew (who I unfortunately did not meet!) trailered his T-16 home.

Cheers,
