Bearing in mind that there are two straight and two doglegs does this still mean Ford?
Also that they seem to be in groups of three or five, not the four here. Been through the Blueprint Victory and have not seen a match. Hard to find a photo with frames but no canvas. I need a definite ID so (Take note Tony) I can try to find a new home for them... One of these bows even has a war wound, a bullet hole through it. Rich.

The bodies were made by different companies so the dogleg isn't a Ford versus Chev thing.
Those bows have the holes to attach the horizontal bars and that started with the 2C1 bodies in 1942. The doglegs might just be an Aussie thing since Military Vehicle Profiles doesn't show any like that.

I suggest they may be off a Chevrolet or Ford Ute. They had doglegs in the bows to bring the canvas out to the corners of the "styleside" bodies.

This one Lang?: http://www.flickr.com/photos/aussief...ts/7157228460/
Dog leg appears to be a little less than the ones in question, but is certainly looking right. Would a set of four hoops be off a mid wheel base? They are not a part I have taken a lot of notice of over the years, and I have been at a bit of a loss to work out what they are for the current owner. So thanks for the input guys.
