Rich, Is that angle iron dimension not in Nigels Vol 3 book, in the drawing box?, If not can measure for you. I think that angle iron has a 'kink' in it both ends.

Yes that's right Kev it kinks where the armour squares are, I have done this with mine... To be totally honest I completely forgot to check the plans box that came with Nigel's book, so with that in mind, and a red face I might add, I will run through to the dining room and check

I think he wants the rivet spacings not the dimension of the angle iron its self.
