I think Vokes is a british brand that has been around for years. some british and Austalian carriers ran Vokes filters as did Leyland trucks up into the 70's.

Yes Vokes from Guilford, England. This is the general application. These square shaped filters were quite often fitted to stationary engines. Several have been found this way in Australia. Ron
