The gun tractor had the battery in the cab... and that looks like the base for the battery box.

The base and the holes in floor look like those on a Pattern 12, wonder if this is a carry over from that.

here are some other pictures, there are things on this truck that we dont have any clues about.
its a ford cab no doubt. yes its the convoy lamp thats lights on... ![]() there are two brakets on the top rear section of the cab....Antenna base ? Also on the roof top, there is two holes and tubes and also a braket with a spring...any idea what this could be ? |

funny, the truck still had all its original 6v bulbs, 2 mazda prefocus, and 4 Ford GE canada 6-8v miniatures ones.
there is also the remains of a red lens from one of the rear convoy lamp... |

The chassis, motor, wooden steering wheel all say Chev, but the rad mesh and mirror arms say Ford. If it is a Chev wireless then the 'S' on the door should be a 'W/T'. The checker plate on the floor looks too early for a '44 Chev. Has someone used some Ford body bits on this truck?
