Thanks so much everybody for your kind thoughts and birthday wishes.
We are having a remembrance get-together, a party in her honour rather than a formal funeral. My birthday was a nice family affair, we were all there including one of my daughters who had come down from Sydney. To top it all off, today is my 31st wedding anniversary! (No jokes please about how you only get 10 years for murder!)

It's all happening
Tomorrow is the wake. We decided not to have a formal funeral, and this is more in the form of a party in her honour. She was a stylish, beautiful woman, and a great influence not only on family members, but also a wide range of friends.
I collected her ashes today, they will be spread with my dad's at our property.
