Default Ford Wood Burner???

The front cover makes the Ford look like its got a wood stove in the cab!!! I've seen sheds with chimneys like that!

Seriously, very interesting info: and not something I (or, it seems, Keith) have ever seen in Australia. How common are the waterproofing kits in other parts of the world?

Mike:

Don't underestimate the creativity of the average Canadian trooper. His truck drives, swims, attracts chicks and has an on-board bacon smoker.

(If you don't believe me, just read Rob Love's posts about heaters in trucks, extra long legged modular tents for workshops, hard shell cabs for M548s, and all the mods for the mechanics' trucks.)

I just sold my minto Ford welder truck to Dirk and it was wade proofed. It had all the vents and special fuel caps still intact. The only thing missing from original was one vent cap that I was able to buy from Chris Vickery. Maybe when Dirk returns from his holiday he will post some photos.
