Here is an image of a pair M100CDN Trailers strapped together that was taken in Zagreb, Croatia in 1994. About 50 or so had been sent from the Canadian bases in Germany down to The Former Yugoslavia, most likely for UN use.

I was in Lahr in 1992 when we were equiping the Task Force for Croatia and everything went through the paint program as well as repairing all VIII CH M-100 trailers for shipment to Cambodia. We had a nice mod that turned a trailer into a Tent trailer when set up for 2 people. I wish I had pictures of this useful illegal mod.
Here is a picture of one of my two M100 trailers for my Recce Patrol. I just picked up in Belleville last month. Thanks Scotty for the info. Suprisingly brief for a piece of equipment that was in service for 40 yrs. 53-70177 Dave Chaloux

There is a difference of 1056 numbers between these two serials. That is a lot of trailers!

I had CFR 70018 or 19...I can't remember. MCI serial number was 0019 (or 18) as well. I would suspect the 1/4 ton trailers started at 70000 and went up to 71250 or so. Maybe Scotty can run the M100 serial numbers and see where they end. That would likely give us a firm on idea of the production numbers.

Not to hi-jack the thread, but I am still looking for a decent M100 if anyone knows of one for sale, preferably in Ontario but always willing to entertain offers from elsewhere.

Was that set of barns on the farm of a nice retired former Montrealer? Remarkable collection he has isn't it?
