Default borgward B2000A/O Krankenwagen of 1957

Bob have tried 3 times to post a picture but it will not let me..any chance of a sneak peak at yours so I can compare...must have come over with the german Army to Batus..or maybe the made some for the RAF as well...but quite agree nicest looking truck Ive had in a long time...in some respects looks a bit like the old Morris MRA-1..but with an American front end....best regards malcolm

BATUS is British army training establishment Suffield (Alberta). The Germans came to GATES (German Army Training Establishment Shilo). GATES wasn't established until the early 70s. Was the German Army still using vehicles of 50s vintage at that point?

aye Rob thanks for that...when my son was at Batus in the 1990's with his regiment he saw Daf YA-126 trucks there being used as OPPFOR vehicles so I suppose anything is possible...I had a couple of these a few years ago and a leading member of Keep them Rolling told me that they had also been used as OPPFOR vehicles up at the East german Border on Nato exercises...best regards malcolm
