Early Chev cast axles

Just wondering if anyone can let me have photos and basic measurements of the early Chevrolet one piece cast axles as fitted to the early Ford CMP's until Ford produced their own? A readable tape measure streched over the part and photographed will do fine. I want these so I can scratchbuild some in 1/35 scale for a future project

Which truck are you speaking of year and size? I understand that you are talking about the Chev front ends used on Fords, from your picture Cliff it looks like a C30 or F30 or possibly C60 or F60 with the small brake drums but what size are the wheels?

What confuses me though is my `41 Chevy Pat 12 C60L has the small drums with originally 16 inch wheels. That housing has the separate front covers and doesn't have all the reinforced areas I'm seeing in your photos.

Phil the one's I am after are the Chev axles as fitted to the first run of 'ventless' Fords. I had a 30cwt version in New Zealand 30 years ago which the NZ army had rebuilt with proper Ford axles and 20inch wheels but want to build a 1/35 scale model with everything I can correct. Below is a photo of mine when it was picked up.

The pictures I sent are from my Cab 11 FGT
On this one the front cover is not removeable but is cast one piece.With only the crown removeable from the rear. Shape of the front dome is similar to later cab 12 and 13 dome with the addition of cast rib coming in from either side. The casting to either side is a lot heavier than later models

Early cab 11 Chev Gun tractor had HD GM cast front and rear axle with no bolted covers.... I have seen two n these beasts ///one in Kars Museum and one at the Caldswell BBQ years ago owned by Angus. Aslo seen on an early cab 13 ....part donor.... and on a tagged 1942 Ford F15a at the barn.

I firmly beleive that these early axles are always hiding the early R-Zeppa inner U joint axle on the front.... which I greatly admire for the intricate design, assembly and overall precision.

In both cases, front and rear, the bolted gear cluster "pumpkin" seems identical to the regular cab 13 axles.

Unfortunately the snow fairies makes it impossible to take any measurments right now!!!!!!
