I agree with Eric's analysis....never saw a tow rope in Cdn service. We did have the tow cables, which had a pear shaped link along with a snap slip hook on each end of about a 12 foot steel cable. These were kind of standard issue (although not on the checklists) for a wide berth of vehicles in the CF. They can often be seen slung onto the tops of the fenders of the ferrets.

I have 2 Canadian Forces Issue tow ropes that are 60 feet long..they used to have the paper tags on them..but they have come off and are lost..I also have a 200 foot tow rope..a bit thicker than the 2 60 foot ropes.

Okay guys I'll use the rope Cus I have it and make it look right but as I said I more often than not am using it...hahaha!
