Keith Webb may be able to help on this one.

The RAAF lost a Airspeed Oxford and all four on board were killed, when a routine patrol they were checking out a boat that parked near Deal Island in Bass Straight.

During my investigations I was given a second hand report which indicated there was a twin engined V12 wreck in a ravine on ther other side of the island.

Wondering if anyone knows any more

Thanks

Col
