Hanno is 99% correct.

Land Rover produces vehicles with both left and right hand drive.

The British military has purchased both left and right hand drive.

There was effort put into sending appropriate handed vehicles to BAOR etc.

It didn't always work that way and in some years quite a lot of BATUS fleet have been the "wrong" hand drive.

This has also applied to the other wheeled vehicles in such locations.

The purchase of both handed vehicles is being scaled back if not nearly phased out in some new vehicle purchases.
