Robin, found a pic of Ferret CES, certainly looks very similar.
Lynn, yes- LV6/MT11
Hardly appears to be an exotic piece of kit, and the design does appear to be long lived. It was originally bought for a WOT restoration as the design was right, but the date was out by 20+ years.
I have found they are still available : http://www.thexmod.com/item_detail.asp?id=8730 , hence my refferal to a Land Rover connection.
This one will go into the back of the Humber, dare say it will be in use shortly

Theexmod quite often has parts in the wrong category or description.

If it is something I want I will buy it but afterwards tell him what it really is.
