Stay with the original size mirrors!
One morning, heading into town three abreast in the cab of the C15 ( yes it was a tight fit ) I decided to overtake, or should I say undertake, on the outside lane. Suddenly there was this resounding bang and we the occupants were showered with glass fragments. My first thought was that a window had shattered but as our sight returned we noticed that the left hand mirror or what was remaining of it was dangling from the arm inside the cab. What had happened, as it was just outside the bodyline of the cab, was that it had hit a lamp post that was right on the edge of the road and had swung around, hitting the windscreen and shattering.
I reduced the extendable arm to within the body line.

Anton.
