			Can you post some photos? my first bike was a WLC, and I learned to ride it courtesy of an old DR from 1 Provost Company. During our association he filled my head with WLC info - which I had forgotten until I read your post. |

|  42 WLC markings 
			
			Since it is such an early bike the census number could have been 42-?-1745 but I agree with the thought it should have a 1941 number. More likely the engine and/or the fuel tanks have been exchanged. Is the frame marked? It should have the engine number stamped on the frame over top of the tool box. Without that you have a bitza, assembled from parts.
