Well, (Ahem...)
At first appearance the covers seem to be the bolt-together cab11 fare, (similar to what is in my early #12)
Closer inspection, not really...
Check out the covers on my truck Vs the Gumtree truck remains

See how there isn't a recess at the top of the covers? This is where the instrument cluster mounts on a cab 11 or 12.
SO; This truck must have been a (Drum-roll please)
Over to you, Keefy!

Default Marmon

Thought this might be of interest to some.

What do we think the marking on the door in photo 1 is?

Cheers,

Default The new owner

The new owner is one of us... he will probably reveal this information to all in due course.

Best thing is they are in good hands.

I'm happy to report they will soon be joining my collection of projects awaiting attention. At $5500 the pair I couldn't resist! The Cab 12 will now go to the top of the list, to be returned to the road in "as found" condition, including extendable yellow hand signal found in the shed. I can't wait to see what the cops will make of that! Not to mention the 1966 rego sticker!

The previous owner started work towards roadworthiness about 15 years ago but passed away before completion. He got the motor running, fitted brand new rear tyres, muffler, uni joints, reco brake booster, cooling system etc, including possibly new tropical core radiator. He even sourced some NOS steering end assemblies, although I'd be surprised if these are needed.

Anyway here's some pics for your enjoyment.
