Default Excellent

Excellent MKII armour, complete with the welded side supports on the front aperture. The mantle is a wee challenge for the MKII. Hanno, what is the lower and upper hull serial number range? Is it a MKII or MKII* ?
Nice work!

Is the armour on the shop floor, (circled in red) originally from the same hull or another MKII/MKII*?

M.

Guys,

I'm only the messenger, posting a few pics of Siemon's work on here. He is a member and can read English but writing is more difficult.

Yes, nice work. I like the spring compressor, a better one is on my to do list......I'm sure I can get some ideas from that.

I went to visit Siemon last Saturday. He's making very good progress on the Carrier. There's a more complete one nearby from which he copies many parts, striving to manufacture them as original as possible.

Here are some pictures he wants to share with MLU:

1) After sandblasting, the upper armour was measured up and fitted:

2) The newly made upper parts were hot riveted.
