Hello ALEX

The pic you show is a DODGE D60S (not a D15 which not exist with a tipper) with single wheel at the rear axle. It seems to be complete with the exception of the head light not original. The tires are 1050X16 and the spare wheel housing is a little more width than the spare wheel housing for the truck with dual wheels at the rear axle.

It seems that they have no mudguard at the rear for all versions of D60S.

I found the "blue DODGE" on the web sit "SECONDMAIN" and not le boncoin.

Best regards Serge

Hello,

thanks all for the information. I am going to look for a spare wheel housing of a GMC CCKW352.
The storage box will be a repro self made box. Just need the correct measurements...

Best regards,
Kurt.

Default 743 Tipper Coy RASC

A few photos from my Uncle Walters collection of his time in the RASC, in NW Europe 44/45.

Thanks to this forum for helping me ID the exact model of Tippers they used. I only knew it as a Canadian Dodge before. Now I know it is a D60S with single wheel rear axle and two part British wheels.

I won't go into my Uncles history on this thread, I'll just post some of the photos that show their tipper trucks. For those who would like to know more just click on the flickr links.
