There is, or recently were, about three other carriers on Milweb. Some restored and some not but all with equally high prices. It will be interesting to see if any sell even close to the asking prices.

Just going by what the carriers are worth on the dark side from here, I thought it wasn't too bad.
The tracks are there, rebuilt engine and what looks to be a fairly sound,
complete hull and lots of I guess hard to find parts on the ground. At that price, does that mean 50k - 70K for a restored one is far more than they are worth over there.

Have any sold for that recently? Of those (if any) that have sold, does anyone know what the prices were?

I mean, there has to be a cap on how may people there are out there who are willing to pay $20K for a project and $70 for a complete one...right?

Default Carrier prices

Carriers seem to be in fashion worldwide. The asking price and the selling price are always based on pure science and a calculated mathmatical formula
based on the thickness of an individuals wallet.

I bought a carrier about a year ago with some armour missing (standard) no motor, good track, a jack and some tools, radiator, air filters and the seats and steering all there. $1000 and $400 to get it home.

I bought another hull in better condition a few months ago with an engine cover and all road wheels but no diff or track for the same price.
I also travel hundreds of miles looking for these parts, not Gumtree.

A carrier sold here in WA last year for $14k complete, restored and running.
One sold at J Swans clearance a couple of years ago for $23K or abouts

When I sell one of mine do you think I'll be asking $70k pounds?
Why not if some one is dumb enough to pay that.

Wayne.
