How to disassemble a HUP

Bubba is not a monster, he just doesn't share your interests in historical artifacts.... after all, it's all about money in this day and age.

Bubba is just a guy who sees money laying all over the prairie. If you stop, be courteous and maybe share one of his beers with him, then next time he finds something "green" he will call you.

Problem is, with this economy, he will call you with something that you feel is not currently "economically viable", you don't buy it and it goes to the scrap yard.....next time something like it he finds goes directly to the scrappers.

But still keep in touch with these guys, drop in and have a beer once in a while...after all, they are the ones out there looking every day while you are at work...

Back in the day CMPs were everywhere. If every one of them remained, then the ones that are left would not be unique.

At least these ones were not excessively cut or mangled.

We don't have Hup's in Australia, just the odd 6 seater CMP.

Wayne, to me, that post seems to lack sensitivity. Most hoarders are grey haired. It takes time to get it perfected. There is another entire group you have left out.

Wayne, One was discovered up north in 1995 during or just after 'Back to the Track'. It was found on an Ab settlement and purchased for a song. (or a slab). Motto might have more info.
