Alex,
Looking at a half ton Dodge at the moment. I am also leaving for Texas tomorrow to see if I can drag the Dodge Carryall out of the ashes and find somene else to finish it in time for Normandy. Lang |

John,
I just got some photos of my Carryall and progress is a bit further along than I anticipated. The body is completely finished (except the fabric roof). The undercarriage was finished by me on my last trip. New engine and gearbox in. I have some hope that 3 weeks continuous work will give me a good usable vehicle although it will not be a show piece. $1,000 to ship it to New Jersey from Texas to a place I have no control over the bills is not really the go but thanks for the suggestion. I have plenty of airline points and stay free with a friend in Texas so it costs very little to be on the spot with full control. Lang Last edited by Lang; 25-09-13 at 08:17. |
