Must be made of some precious metal at that price. But then again, I do have Scots blood...

Default Prototype huw

From the ad:

Up for serious Military Vehicle collectors and WW11 Canadian History buffs is the "Last Of The Last". This is a 1943 Chevrolet Canadian Military Pattern HUP ZL. This prototype (less than 100 were made) was designed to have a wireless (radio) repair shop built into the rear. Of the less than 100 manufactured, this is the only one remaining world wide. It has had a ground up restoration and is currently licensed and insured to drive on BC roads. Yes, there are a number of small areas to finish of (including the rear workshop), but you can drive it away today and carry on with it in your spare time. There is too much to tell in this ad. I have lots of photos etc to show if this is your vehicle. Price is $25,000.00 CDN. No tire kickers or Looky Loos! Contact me if you require any further info.

Very interesting indeed. I wonder what a one of one 42 Pilot Model would sell for?

Default Very Very Interesting INDEED Rob.....

Nice chit chatting with you tonight Rob. I'm totally amazed to what extent Kijiji is viewed world wide. As Hanno pointed out earlier in this thread, you can go on to Milweb and buy one for $70,000.00. What's that make ours???

THE ODD THING is that I got an email from a fellow in Newfoundland today, who I think is in the petroleum exploration game. And lo and behold, while walking and exploring through the bush near Gander ....he comes across this old truck. Didn't know what it was till he saw my ad on Kijiji. He plans on hauling it out. Mr Hup......how far are you from Gander????? Robert

Robert, I think you will find that the ad is also linked by other websites. For instance, I was surprised to find your Chev in the email update I get everyday from BringaTrailer:

Hope you find a good home for the truck!

Alex
