A few more bits. The round bakelite switch in the last picture was used in a few applications.
1. Std start button.
2.British speedo
3. Two switches from Dirk Leegwaters shop. Note the extra position on the British switch.
4. The trouble light dash socket.
5. I think this was the original change over switch for the tail light / black out light, on British carriers. (the switch at the back)

As it is the 11th day of the 11th month

Hi guys, I have been asked what make are the Canadian horn buttons (that is, if they were not a Ford made item) for the Canadian MkI* Universals.
I don't know the answer, so out to you guys. Michael R.???? Rob L.???

Default Canadian Horn Button

The elusive little critter......Had another search in the store today, think I have found what appears to be an original horn button from an unmolested panel.
See in the pics hole centres are 1 1/2 inch. Does not appear to have any internal spring, just relying on the brass tab that is bent up and there is a little raised bit on the back of the button that makes contact on the tab back down to the terminal. Like to know the make? The Lucas button and the other button, "Except Ford" the holes centres I think are 1 11/16 inch , so would not fit without modification. Open to ideas?

Default Canadian Panel Switches

I believe this to be the correct switch for the Canadian panels.
Made in the USA ( C H ) , part no. 8801K2. Are these a standard USA switch , used in other vehicles ?. The CMP switches are different, having a shorter Toggle. Are these available anywhere, looking for some?? Cheers.
