Yes I could write a thesis on some of the nonsensical red tape I've encountered.
As you might know I am organising a large motorcycle contingent for this year in Normandy. One of my motorcyclist booked his late ferry crossing with Brittany Ferries yesterday. Even though he never mentioned any military involvement, they asked him to declare if he would be carrying any deact weapons. New policy apparently. My advice to my lot is not to take any such items. Re enactors and those with weapons attached to vehicles will need to take advice from the Ferry companies I guess. Ron
