Thank you Rick for posting. I enjoyed going through it.
When she is on the outer limits of mans ability, she has to be impressive. I was talking to a guy at SKF here in Kalgoorlie.There has been an order placed for a million dollar bearing, a slew ring ( with a nine month lead time) Because of the size of the bearing, it could only go in the Antanov at an angle, and the freight cost to Sydney would be around the $1.2 million. (Perth's airport runway is too short) Apparently the final result is that it will come by ship.
