A fantastic 1945 battery box from world war 2 .Issued to VR Butler. Still has his leather dog tag attached to the key . It's in fantastic original condition. Great piece for reenactment enthusiasts. Or perhaps mount it on your ww2 vehicle ..or add it too your Royal Signals comms collection . This is obviously a special one with a working lock , key and the very rare addition of issued dog tags to accompany it. They are hard to find in such great condition .

I have owned multiple original battery boxes and some reproductions that I got from Dave G. This is a really good example of a late war box, even if it has some mods.
