It will be superior for a Canadian for two reasons. First it covers NSNs and parts which were later supplied when stock exhausted. The US manuals often relate to the early issues of Jeeps. In the US, the M38A1 became substandard when the M151s came out. Here in Canada they remained the standard until the mid 70s, when we finally went to the M151A2Cdn.
Secondly, the manual relates to those parts that are uniquely Cdn, like the convoy lamp, or the late changes to the brakes and electrical of the Cdn2 and 3, both after US purchases had ended. Having seen and used both manuals, I would take the Cdn one anyday. |

I am new here. I am working on an M38A1 CDN2, 1968 vintage.
I would like to buy a copy of the manual mentioned in this post. Right now it is the wiring schematics I am most in need of. Can some one put me in touch with Brian Ashbury who appears to be selling them? thanks Bill 1968 M38A1 CDN2 |
