Default Thank SIR Colin.....

.... thanks for the detailed answer.

I have a drill press and will try drilling my own jig. Will post my results.

On the home made little post you made.... they are available from Macs Auto and are made of weak pot metal like the originals. Yours will be much stronger and last longer.

To David D. yes all the extra weight on pulling yourself up into a cab 11/12 or cab 13 certainly takes it toll... and the driver's door always shows more wear.

Will beat a path to the metal shop on Monday for blocks of steel to make a die.

Cheers

Hello all

Thanks again for all your comments lads, and of course Colin Jones for his work.
Without doubt i need help with parts on my new toy if anyone can help. There is a lot missing so give me a yell if you know of any parts laying around to fit the 2 pounder.

Default Another cab 12

Just a quick update of the cab 12. I have decided to transform her into a 2 pounder anti tank portee might as well as i have the gun. Would like to see photos of the tray the gun sits on if anyone has any and also the layout of boxes etc. Anyway here is a couple of photos of the resto so far and the not to be done for a couple of years resto.

Looks great, Shane!

As for the Portee, search this forum and the rest of the internet, there is quite some material available. I think John Belfield has a restored Portee, so you could get measurements off that one.

Looking forward to seeing it completed.

Hi Shane,

Tim Scrivens has a Cab13 2pdr. anti-tank portee. It looks to be much the same as the Cab12 from the back of the cab. You should be able to get the measurements of it.

Default The Belfield Portee

I took these several years ago. It was jammed in so it was difficult to get any good ones.

Pics didn't upload - will try another way.
