Another life
When I was a kid our local coal merchant George Baker ran a ex CMP 3 tonner for deliveries but damned if I can remember if it was a Ford or a Chev but here it is in a local carnival in the 1950s with George third from left

A number of years ago a old friend who runs a farm building construction firm purchased this old converted HUP from a local recovery firm. the engine had been replaced with a Bedford diesel and a hefty winch had been fitted in the back which is the reason he bought it. I took these photos a while back when the vehicle was laid up and there was talk of restoration but we are still waiting
