Thanks for the photos lads they look great. Took the wife and little ones to the Royal Adelaide Show to spend a a little family time together on Father's Day.(Spent much a weekend on the resto so i thought it would be the right thing to do) We saw cattle, wood chopping, show bags, snakes, fireworks and so much more.. 20140907_191317a.jpg 20140907_224643a.jpg 20140907_175302a.jpg Now if this is not a sign from above that i should be working on my truck instead of pushing through thousands of people for over six hours i don't know what is 20140907_152457a.jpg 20140907_152609a.jpg I mean what are the chances people..... Very tempting to go back after hours and get that drivers door for you Tony

| The Kruse Cab 12

That truck was rebuilt as a 'replica' of the one in the movie "The Back of Beyond". It has a few modifications including an extended steering column. Not sure what the black thing is. It wasn't there when I last saw it in Alice Springs. That truck sure gets around! It belongs to Brenton (I think) Kruse, one of Tom Kruse's grand nephews. He lives in Waterloo, S.A.

| Pat 12 Head for Alice Springs

Hi Stuart and Keith Thanks Stuart for sharing the photo, has been added to my collection. The tag line and the photo are just great, makes you wonder how many CMPs have past over that road and the stories behind their use. Alice Springs is of course an Australian town that people in the rest of the world can lock on to particularly if they are of my generation. Again thanks for the photo. Cheers Phil

HI all A few days ago obtained my NOS Cab 12 roof wood and metal all in great condition and will be used on the next project. Today Hugh Davies and i went to pick up the Cab 12 but the tyres were stuffed so we were unable to tow. I guess another drive next week will get things sorted out.. However not all bad news got the Portee 20140909_175915a.jpg 20140909_183958a.jpg 20140913_134426a.jpg 20140913_142414a.jpg 20140913_164632a.jpg
