It was puddle Jumper that decided to have a bar b que in the back . Interesting comment about the fuel vaporising at a lower temp . All will be well with PJ. We are fairly sure it was a static spark from a can . It was more a vapour fire than the actual vehicle . No one hurt, all over in a flash so to speak ( and 4 dry powder extinguishers ) . Contrary to roumer we were not throwing petrol everywhere before the fire . The vehicle was roasting hot after a 50 mile drive on a 28degree hot day.

Was not there myself at the time, but it was surely the talk of the day. I'd say, as long as PJ will be alright and all involved learned a valuable lesson all ended well.

Re. the heat; I was surprised no-one started reenacting "It Ain't Half Hot Mum"
