If I am not mistaken those tanks have soldered ends..... you might be able to take one end apart, cleanup the inside.... and resolder. Or a rad shop could do it for you..... I would be tempted to sit the tank on its side in a large pan with one inch of cold water and apply heat to the upper side....water should keep the heat from loosening the other end. A coating of fuel tank sealer paint on the inside when reassembled would seal any pin holes.. Cheers
