I had to fit modular tent sections over a tubular aluminum driveway shelter frame. I calculated the peak would fit along the centreline, but the end sections were the wrong shape. MLU'er Guy Vapeur has a couple of very heavy sewing machines. I sketched and measured, then chalked the cutlines twice and cut once. The problem was to change the angle of the sides to conform to the frame. Guy did a great job but he is hard to reach, although Bob Carriere talks to him more often than I do.
