My friends,
Fate has it that i was on military duty in Saint-Jean Québec on monday and Ottawa Ontario on wednesday of last week. These are days of infamy and will be remembered forever. The Canadian Armed Forces lost two good men and one is recovering. They served their country well. We shall remember them. Robert

Copies of the cartoon can be purchased from the Herald with a portion of the proceeds going to his family.
"A portion of all sales of Bruce MacKinnon's cartoon about the shooting in Ottawa will be donated to the family of Cpl. Nathan Cirillo." "If you would like to order a reprint, please visit herald.ca/cirillo or call our customer care line at 1-800-565-3339 ext 0." Just ordered my two. Last edited by Perry Kitson; 28-10-14 at 20:20. |

This is a very dignified use of an original FAT, limber and gun .
Military vehicule collectors have an important role to play in these somber circumstances. It makes it all worthwhile when i see this. Thanks for the very touching picture my friend. ![]() ![]() ![]() We shall remember him. Robert

We have one of those funeral guns here in Shilo that still gets used for funerals which happen here. As well, we have a spare conversion kit for converting a 25 pdr to a casket carrier, consisting of the upper tray and a cut down front shield. I found that kit years ago sunk in the mud at the old RCHA dustbowl.
Lots of history evident on that parade. |

I was wondering whose tractor, limber and gun were used. Thanks.
