The size difference in the CMP trucks is due to the different height of the back wall of the CMP cabs......
The cab 11/12 back wall is lower in height than the cab 13.... so to accommodate the same size .303 rifle the bracket is longer. There is also a difference in the screw/bolt holes.... some with 3 holes as on a cab 11 and some with 2 holes as for the cab 13. It seems that earlier models had rubber covering the spring steel clip while later models used leather. There are also various other rifle bracket models depending on the vehicle in question. Cheers
