Good point Robin.
Many of the Legion branches regularly hold dinners which are open to everyone, often on a Saturday or Sunday along with brunches or lunches.
When I was living in the Guelph area, quite a few of us used to partake in meals served up by the Legion.
Reasonably priced, no cooking for spouses and a great way to support local Legion branches. An excellent way for MV folks to get together.
