I have a couple of copies of the Indian course book, both different so it looks like they were put together for individual courses.

Sadly No mention of the Indian pattern FAT (that I've found anyway), but it does go through a range of other non-CMP vehicles (such as the WOT2).

I live in hope of finding one that does mention it.

Tell a lie, there may be something here. I just picked it up again and on the list of vehicles there's

C011QF-C291Q Artillery Tractor 4x4 indicating winch fitted, and
C119QHF-C291QH Stripped C011QF chassis 4x4 no winch.

I'll scan the page in with the supplements.

Default Thanks for the Gun tractor winch scan....

...much needed for my C15a with a transplanted CGT winch and 2 speed T case.

My basic driver's manual for the C15a had no such information.

Cheers

Gents,

It seems that I missed contributing to this discussion almost 3 years ago. There were two series of Driver’s Handbooks: Handbook British (HB), and Handbook Canadian (HC). It would appear that the British Handbooks are far more prevalent. Attached are some supporting images from the design record.
